All quiet on the western front …

How nice to share an update with not much going on. A walk to the shops, a bit of cricket on the tele (well done Sri Lanka), a dog walk with Judith, time catching up with the older two and Judith and a freezer special for tea. Sandwiched around the usual afternoon nap. Pain manageable which always helps.

Ready now for some tele – Slow horses – having also started Colin in accounts yesterday so we have 2 running.

Good to hear via a WhatsApp voicenote that Gideon had a good day 1.

A bit sad to reflect back on what would have been Dad’s 85th birthday. Sharing memories with the family on sugar sandwiches, swimming trips and travelling to Newcastle on the backroads (for 10 hours!). Lovely to chat with mum today and be able to smile knowing he is still in our hearts. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
